Well, decided to make the switch to another development platform, both OS and language. Back to developing on Linux for my C++ class, so might as well go all the way and learn PHP and Java as well. So making a switch introduces a whole new learning curve. Have to get used to the new platform and learning new languages at the same time.
peace out amigos. hi gb.

SORRY IE USERS...TIRED OF FIXING BROKEN LAYER TAGS...
Checked this out on Mozilla browser and behold... Things don't appear the same. Still discrepancies between IE and other browsers. Kind of tired of this old war, and I am kind of tired of Microsoft whoring standards, so we'll have to see how this pans outfor me. Made changes to make things appear more friendly for us non-IE users, for I think that will be the drift I take in my development path in all aspects. I originally previewed this page in IE cuz I was in a lazy mood and only wanted to do the ol' F12 in Dreamweaver instead of firing up my Mozilla browser. Well, guess I could configure preview in DW to use Mozilla... Gimme a break, it's a fresh install. Anyway, time and my growing development skills will tell in the end. HI GB! ;)

Well, stupid Prohosting's FTP server refuses to cooperate so I am stuck on Fortunecity for the time being. Stupid banners are $*%@#$% up my layout below 1280x960, nor can I use SSI's, but I am trying to iron things out with my own ISP to get things clean and banner-free. Then it's goodbye Prohosting and goodbye Fortunecity. Well, no matter cuz the only person who will probably ever look at this is GB, and I doubt she will even look at it more than once. ;) This site will never hit public consumption unless I start doing some plugin development or something. Everything else is under construction and content will be added slowly as I get time or inclination to do it. Geez, I feel like I am typing to myself... :P
peace.

Well, looks like I found free server space on my ISP's server. This thing might go live after all! My only intention is to get some creative outlet for web design and I might post some of my programs or useful code I develop for projects in school, should they be useful in any way. Furthermore, I might actually have to start making sense when I write this stuff in the unlikely event someone might actually see this stuff. You never know, some web-spider may index this thing and all hell might break loose.

New site, new design, and new page. What more can be said? It's got my standard design signature and a picture of Googlie Butt. What else is needed? This site is probably never going to be viewed by the public, nor will it ever likely reside on a public server; however, I need a creative outlet to just let things flow. Energy is all about flow -- it comes in, and must have a place to come back out. Not worth keeping it all bottled up. Should I ever decide to put this up on some server somewhere, well, keep in mind what this site is designed to be: solely my creative outlet. It will feature some of my art, writing, and perhaps things of a scientific nature that I find amusing, intriguing, or downright compelling. As of now, this page is little more than my thoughts stored electronicaly on my hard drive. Who knows what destiny awaits?

Tschuß,

Rob
